Actually, it is my fault - I coded displaying routines for HST files. + did some little different PCS timing, what may look not 100% OK in emulators, but is fine on real HW - good for overscan. What I did not is SW for converting regular picture formats into STE high-color format.
Problems may appear with NTSC machines + monitors not capable to show 50Hz refresh rate . All it is because used vertical overscan, but it is very good for cover scans, which are mostly narrow format. Another problem is that CPU runs on NTSC machines little faster, so need correction of one delay timing.
Please try new adapt.: game Beam - there is some speed check before displaying.
Famous Schrodinger's cat hypothetical experiment says that cat is dead or alive until we open box and see condition of poor animal, which deserved better logic. Cat is always in some certain state - regardless from is observer able or not to see what the state is.
