using just a 1040STfm, a ran into countless errors of the various kind. only by reformatting and initializing "Pasti Transfer Disk" following each Pasti transfer, was i able to reduce errors to zero.

*edit

i'm not sure if this approach necessarly helped. perhaps not. i believe i got lucky 6x and that's all i needed

Have you got an external drive you can try instead with the same disks?

sorry. if it's any consolation, all my images were made free of errors. not once was i prompted with retry/cancel. i was meticulous about that.

I do all my PASTI images via a SatanDisk so only errors occur when it can't read the disk etc.

Exactly when are you getting those errors?

Do you have something "unusual" on your ST software or hardware setup? Which TOS version?

Are you using DD (and not HD) disks?

With the little information available, I would say it does look about some kind of floppy problems on the PC. Yes, you get the errors on the ST, but it might be because of the PC floppy drive.
