Stefan jL wrote:If you ever interview Peter Johnson then i have an important question.... the one i ask in the following thread: http://www.atari-forum.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=26644 :)

 Well, i've got my poker face on...what can i tell you about my future interviews?

Well, as you know there are 3 exclusives all done, ready to rock in ST Gamer Vol 2 and i've been thanked by people i interviewed for the 'personal nature and depth' of the questions, that article looks cool (so credit to Greyfox for that).

I'm awaiting replies from 6 enquiry/chase emails.1 i've been after for AGES, even had to provide examples of my ST Gamer work (both Vols) and have an industry contact vouch for me, just to get email read.so these are very much vague possibilities....

And i've currently 9 sets of interview questions sent out to 9 people, awaiting replies, a few (think 2) are mere 'follow-up' type interviews, just questions not put to them in recent interviews other 7 are exclusives and the bigger deal.

Unseen64 will be using content from past, present/future interviews, as will:Sega forum/ Atari Age/C64GTW/Konix site-anywhere where info is site specific.

I'll be linking to future interviews on here....

Just been approached by someone wanting certain future interviews as exclusives for a site he frequents, early stages yet, might do a test run of factual info.found from past interviews/emails, see how community responds before i decide what to do next....

Lets just say, if everything goes to plan, interviews, emails ( and mag scans i'm awaiting returned along with mags themselves) come back in ok, i'll soon be sharing a lot more Atari related info with the communities, in many a form).

Just wait and see is all i can suggest.everyone i've contacted/recived replies from so far has been fantastic, but they are all extremly busy, so things take time, interviews get cut short etc etc in some cases.

No promises on anything, just watch this space.

So there will be a third volume now?

Another thing i wonder about is the breaking of words in ST gamer.. this is difficult to explain since i have no idea what it is called in english, i will try and show with the quote tag:

ST Gamer style:
You must rescue Arkos, the hero of the Rebel
-lion against Gremla, who has been imprisoned.
Correct style?

lion against Gremla, who has been imprisoned.
I hope you understand what i mean :D

:D Nope that Vol 3 was my sleep deprived head.Gotta love night shifts.Well spotted, just edited post to read Vol 2 as it should have been.

Personally achived everything i wanted to regarding the ST now, if it had more exclusive games, there would of been more avenues to follow up, but i can only go after what i know.I'm not someone who searches out someone to ask questions of them on games etc i've been aware of, but never had an interest in, sure in the past i assisted on an RVG interview which was short of questions and it concerned a genre i was'nt a fan of, but i did'nt want to see that interview fail to get off the ground.

i've reached out to all the Ex-Atari folk i could, Darryl, Mike and Les were superb, gave freely of their time, answered a lot of questions, helped put MYTH that Creature shock was ever started, let alone nearly finished as a game, to bed, shed light on various other aspects of the Atari range.Bill? well we came so close, could'nt do the SKYPE interview as we all had real world issues to take care of (jobs etc) and it's those that put food on the table.Sent a last ditch email to him, to see if anything can be salvaged, doubt i'll get a reply, ditto Mark Cale, but these guys are extremly busy and nice as it would be to clear up lost 7800/Lynx/A8/ST games, it's not going to be high priority for them, is it?.

Wording? not my department (and just as well, my stuff is Red Raw).I'm just interested in speaking to the people behind the games, getting a chance to thank them, clear up myths over lost games, uncover more lost games along the way etc.

Been one hellva ride so far, established contact with folk i once could never of dreamt of.

Just proud to be able to share it with the sites/communities i have so far.

Once i get my memory stick and magazines back, i'll start forwarding on the Minter, ATD, Rebellion, I.D interviews, get that E3 preview of AVP on PS1 up.....

Hopefully folks will enjoy/appreciate.....

After that, really not much more, if anything i'll be looking to do.Information i aquired via personal+community interviews shared, ditto any UK mag scans i thought USA readers might like to see.

looked into as many lost:C64/A8/ST/Lynx/Panther/Konix/Jaguar etc games as i could, passed info onto respective sites.
Think 2015 will be the right time to pass the 'research' baton onto others.

It consumes so much time it's unreal.

:D Very good news:

Sent out another 2 sets of interview questions this afternoon, so technically as of 18:00 HRs i had some eleven interviews out, awaiting people to answer and send back.

1st of those 2 from today came in, Atari related, but not ST....

Probably THE most open/honest set of answers i've ever had back, providing fresh information on existing games and hardware that ran them, plus added extra piece of the jigsaw puzzle to a key 'Lost' game.

I've forwarded to someone to proof read it, before it goes up and will link to it when it's out.

But they don't come much fresher or more exclusive than this.

:D

As promised, the very latest interview:

http://3do.cdinteractive.co.uk/viewtopi ... =14&t=3564

Dave Taylor, EX-I.D Software.

He who helped bring Doom and Wolfie to the Atari Jaguar and has some 'choice' words to describe the hardware....

My 2nd, Fresh interview of the day:

http://www.grumpyoldgamers.co.uk/index. ... interview/

I'd like to thank Greyfox for encouraging me to get involved in ST Gamer, as without that nudge, i'd probably never have started 'interviews', would have simply stuck to emailing certain coders asking about claims of Lost Atari games being true or not.

As it is, i've uncovered far more Lost games on more formats than i ever dreamt of so likes of C64GTW, Unseen 64, let alone the Atari Community are benifiting.

Lot more interviews out there i'm awaiting replies to questions put to as is.
