AtarICQ 0.166 released

The holidays are coming at an end, and just in time for the new year we now bring you a new version of AtarICQ! Lots of things have changed, and even though most of them have been invisible there will also be more appearant changes for you to explore.

For those of you who have upgraded to a recent version of XaAES, you will now find that aICQ supports its excellent keyboard navigation scheme. That is, via TAB and ARROW keys you will be able to navigate through the GEM dialogs of all programs that handles this properly.

Secondly, we are excited to present the first implementation of support for the AOL instant messenger protocol in AtarICQ. The support is still being worked on, but we consider things to already be working well enough to be highly useable.

Here is a screenshot that gives you an idea what it feels like to mix ICQ and AIM contacts:

Add to this a substantial list of bugfixes and other improvements, and you find yourself with well enough
reasons to upgrade :)

Read more and download the new release on the AtarICQ webpage.

Happy new year!
