Brilliant, good job. Did it get much interest?
Did Leonard Tramiel comment? 😀

nice setup,
would be cool to hear more about that event.

I wonder about mouse I see Atari one behind the TT but connected is a different one. Is it dedicated to ASV Unix?

This TT has a SD-SCSI card instead of the hard drive.

Cool machine, don't know how useful was this UNIX..

Nice. Didn't know that there was a "GEM app porting kit". Is that actually usable? And do you know of any GEM app being ported?

There are typically 3 "Vintage Computer Fairs" (VCF) in the US each year (East, Midwest and West).

You can find more info here:

https://vcfed.org/events/vintage-comput ... ival-west/

Lot's of Google images:

A few of us Atarian's went to VCF Midwest 2021 last year and it was great. We are planning
on going again this year, in September. Really looking forward to it. :)

I'm still hoping to make it to the one in September.

Yes more than expected. I talked to about 20 people over the 2 days. Some Atari collectors. People never heard that Atari had Unix outside of Germany so quite interested.

Yeah however I think it's mostly a marketing gimmick. it's documented in ASV Developers Guide: http://www.atariunix.com/docs/developers_guide.pdf

They provide an example in /usr/local/src/samples/gem2motif

There is a Atari Library that you can use with gcc -lAtari

Not sure if anything has ever been ported and using it.

Just one of these atari/amiga mouse converts someone was selling or advertising on this forum years ago. I wanted to demo it with the original atari brick mouse but wasn't working very well so I attached this one.

I'd have loved that rig in the mid 90s!

Huh, it'd be amazing to get this working with porting GEM applications to Linux. Especially thinking Calamus...

Tenox I seem to remember you wanting to try and get ASV working with the Thunder & Storm add-ons. I wonder if you had any success.
