LCD for MiST

Post by polbit »

New MiST owner here. I’ve used my 20” 1600x1200 Dell 2001FP LCD for all my retro needs as it has all inputs and syncs down to 15KHz. Unfortunately when using it with MiSTery core, it has some issues - mono output is shifted too much to the side since its 71Hz vertical, and medium output translates poorly with uneven pixel widths that cannot be adjusted well.

With that said, I would like to hear some recommendations on specific LCD models that work well for the ST core in all three resolutions. Not interested in CRT. Thanks for any input!

One clarification, the color results were with NTSC TOS. Monitor was using 640x480x60Hz. When using PAL TOS, the monitor switched to 800x600x50Hz, and is about perfect for an LCD. Go figure...
