Yes, that should be no problem. Note that the maximum baud rate of a normal ST's serial port is 19200.3AtariSTE wrote:Hi all

Re: Modem Atlantis (serial port) for ST series
Should be no problem with your Falcon as well - I see it is also a 9 pin serial port just like the one on the Falcon.
You should be able get 115Kbps on your Falc with Mint or HSmodem (I think it's Hsmodem...

Now last question:
Where can I find information to set my Falcon to go on the net?

Re: Modem Atlantis (serial port) for ST series
If your going dial up you'll need an ISP that can still do that, and then you'll need a connection package for you Falcon. STinG is probably the best (easiest?) for a non Mint system. You'll need to get some details like username and password from your ISP (and phone number) and you'll need to feed these into a config file that comes with STinG. It can be a bit trial and error to get it to work. If you can get it to connect you can use email (Newsie/ MyMail etc), FTP and IRC, but you'll find the Atari web browsers are out of date (unless your packing a CT60 and Mint for Netsurf) and would be too slow for most stuff.
Firebee, Falcon CT60, Milan 040, Falcon MkI, TT, Mega STe, Mega ST + Lots of STs of various flavours

Don't seems to have much on using a modem to dial-out to the Internet. But have a look at the AF wiki page;
http://www.atari-forum.com/wiki/index.p ... net_Access
Hope you find some useful answer there.
( or even write you a how-to for the modem dial-up when you sussed it out ).
