Application Requests
To keep everything in one place we have decided that the requests we make belong on the Guardians forum. Application requests (including utilities) will be made when we can't track down a particular application or utility, or we may need a pasti image since available versions have sections missing or title screens defaced. Any help will be very welcome since we want Guardians to be as good as possible, and that will only possible with the help of fellow sceners.

Re: Application Requests
We recently added a few video digitiser entries on Guardians, but despite looking everywhere we managed to only find software for four of them. Some of these digitisers must be incredably rare now since some date from 1986-87 and where quite expensive when released, we can imagine that not many where bought. We wouldn't be surprised if we have missed one or two, so if you know of any more please let us know.
The four we have added to Guardians so far:
Computereyes Digital Vision http://www.guardiansofthepast.co.uk/sof ... ion_ID=720
Videomaster - Microdeal http://www.guardiansofthepast.co.uk/sof ... ion_ID=719
Vidi ST - Rombo http://www.guardiansofthepast.co.uk/sof ... ion_ID=668
Vidi ST 12 - Rombo http://www.guardiansofthepast.co.uk/sof ... ion_ID=638
We need the software for the following digitisers:
Easytizer - Maxon
Realtizer - Print-Technik
ST Video Digitizer - Navarone Industries
Turbo Dizer - A-Magic
Obviously we need to add the video digitiser hardware itself since the package is not just the software. For this we need scans of the hardware for all the digitisers listed above. It doesn't matter if these are your own scans or those printed in a magazine, we just need a good picture of the hardware. These will then be put into the notes field with additional text explaining exactly what is and (if possible) the specifications.

Re: Application Requests
There was an Easytizer on eBay recently - maybe ask the seller if they kept a copy of the disk and/or can point you in the direction of the buyer (assuming they sold it). The seller was based in The Netherlands.
My main site: http://www.mug-uk.co.uk - slowly digging up the bits from my past (and re-working a few): Atari ST, Sega 8-bit (game hacks) and NDS (Music ripping guide).
I develop a free Word (for Windows) add-in that's available for Word 2007 upwards. It's a fix-it toolbox that will allow power Word users to fix document errors. You can find it at: http://www.mikestoolbox.co.uk

Re: Application Requests
I am after an English version of Skyplot an Astronomy program, all we have it seems is the German version. There is USA ebay auction at the moment for it so an English version does exsist: http://cgi.ebay.com/Skyplot-Astronomy-S ... .m14.l1262
Yet another really tough request from the Guardians, I will be mega surprised if someones comes up with this one!

Re: Application Requests
It seems that Skyplot is still under development for Windows so might be worth to contact the author?
