What level are you playing? there's a stupid amount of different high score tables:

http://www.reservoir-gods.com/SFSCORES.HTM

It's a shame my later high scores never got uploaded there ;)

what's your score?

Post by ThorN »

@Stickhead: what's your score? If it is below 2000 it could be more than christos, so it would motivate him to beat it, so please post it. That's the fun of it, to have a very simple aim: beat the score of the one who is in front of me.

@sh3-rg: first of all thank you to the reservoir gods again for that game. We play simple freeflight.

@Kradd, I am at 3556 now ;)

@sh3rg thanks for a great game indeed. You' ve really improved on the original idea and those RPG elements make it very good.

I'm rubbish at this .. still not top of the leaderboard - nearest I've got is 888!
My main site: http://www.mug-uk.co.uk - slowly digging up the bits from my past (and re-working a few): Atari ST, Sega 8-bit (game hacks) and NDS (Music ripping guide).

I develop a free Word (for Windows) add-in that's available for Word 2007 upwards. It's a fix-it toolbox that will allow power Word users to fix document errors. You can find it at: http://www.mikestoolbox.co.uk

I was at the unconventional and played also this contest. But I didn't met you. And the record holder with more than 11000 points was Mad Butscher, a friend of mine

I like it when you slow STEEM down (for practice) and the game has a big "PAUSE" logo and you can't go any further :)

haha, mrpink had to put a stop to my special techniques! but I had more!

there's so much more to superfly & steem & hiscores than I dare say here... put it this way, there's no point cheating & sending in your scores 'cause we'd have known EXACTLY what you were up to :P

Wasn't cheating (for a change) :) Just trying to get past that mental block of 900 points :)

Try with different controllers, I seem to remember it was loads better clicking a jagpad button but then didn't some sick fucks use the mouse? But when you look at those scores that crazy frenchman got you'd never want to play again!

ps was it stghost who won the controller me & stimpy came up with for superflying? it never really worked, but with more techy bizNES it could have got there!

OK will try on a real ST instead of STEEM. Pressing one key all the time was getting on my nerves a tad

I was quite addicted to Superfly when it came out, I logged over 24 hours play time on it. Although my scores were never all that great :(

I just used the space bar on my falcon, seemed to do the trick. Maybe I should try different control methods.

Richard.
