Empire- Wargame of the Century passcode list

Post by Refit1701 »

I used to have the manual for this game but can't find it at the moment. Does anyone have a list of the words for the copy protection scheme?

I have Empire Deluxe. Is that the same?
I have it in a txt and pdf file. (It works with my PC version, would assume the ST was the same.) 8O

Is this something we can share? I ask the moderators... :?:

No one has this game in the archives? That's hard to believe.

I'll have to work on an MSA today.

Luckily, I have the original disk. I have the box too, I think, but it is in storage.

I will get an MSA today if time permits.

Can't find an image of the game. It is on some compilations. An MSA would be great :) .

Ok, it's been a few years...say 16 or so since I fooled with this software.

So I have MSA on my PC, which program do I use on the STE to create the .ST image for it to convert?

I've been scratching my head all day.....

My Pc and MEGA STE refused to cooperate on this file. I tried to send it back and forth, on clean, preformatted IBM disks, tried formatting on the MEGA and nothing. I wound up using an older version I found on a disk. I hope it works. If not, I'll try something else.

I used to do this stuff without thinking...but my MEGA has no installed archivers at all. I haven't installed them yet or got it ready.

Really cool ! Keili haven't found the game in a stand alone version & I'll have a look at the protection schem in the next hours (time to sleep a bit  ).

I'll post results soon. [smilie=greencolorz4_pdt_17.gif]

Hi John,

Yes & I managed to crack it (yesterday, in fact before I went sleeping).
(By the way, your passwords list is also good). :D

LOL, the first time I played it the other day (after many years) I spent well over an hour...it's addictive.

I should make a list of other master disks I have in case there are others that are needed. Unless there is a list of needs someplace.

hey there. I realized I am replying to a older post, but I have that manual for that game someplace. I just have to find it.
I have been wanting to play that game again . amazing how much time I played that game, with not much graphics to
speak of. but how addicting it was!
