"The last version doesn't display anymore PI1 format..."
XnView displays a lot of Atari ST formats - certainly including all Degas formats. The only format I found it cannot handle is Deluxe Paint IFF ST (but Amiga IFFs work fine). None of these formats are turned on by default, try this:
Start XnView and go to 'Tools - Options'
Expand the General setting
Click 'Start-up'
Put a tick into 'Use all formats available'
If you don't do this you don't get any of the Atari ST file formats supported. If you DO do this, you get loads of them including all Degas / Degas Elite, Neochrome, Spectrum 512, all Tiny variations, etc.

Hi Rich, nice tip but it doesnt work over here
I´ve installed XN View 1.80.3 and not one single Atari format is supported. I have put the tick where you said to do but I get always an error message. I´ve checked the "supported formats" list in the XN View Info and all Atari formats are deleted here
So I wonder if the version I´m running is some slimfast one or something... I remember my old XN View installation running fine with Atari formats (converted all UCM pictures with this great tool). Has anyone an info if the newer versions run well with -all- formats included or may I have to get some plug ins?
Thanx and greetings, Eric

I'm using 1.82.4
In 'Help - Supported Formats' it says:
Formats in reading: 469
Formats in writing: 63
I have no extra plugins installed into it. All I did was as I posted above. The version I'm running was downloaded from the XnView web site in March of this year.
What does it say in yours? I'm happy to send you my install EXE if you want.

Hi Rich, oki, thanx but I was wrong, after reloading XN View it supports the missing files, not all, but the most, incl. PI1... So I may leech the latest version somewhen later... thanx anyway for your tip. I think I would have leeched a later version and would still have the same problem without your tip

Hi
Take a look at Konvertor, all formats are displayed/played/converted (music, images, compressed)
