I'm looking for an Eiffel interface ...

Post by Fantomas »

... coz i would use PC mouse and keybord in my Atari Falcon

But i don't know where i can find it. I try to see on Satantronic web but "We are very sorry but due to many reasons Jookie decided to not continue the making and selling of Eiffel interfaces"

I'm looking for the "small" model, with PS/2 connectors only.

thx for your help !

I can't help with the Eiffel, sorry - but I think you can still get a DEKA interface that will allow you to use a PC keyboard -but not a PC mouse.

You could get a DEKA, and then use the PEST mouse interface?

Not sure how much all that would cost you though...

HTHs.

I've had a few requests for Eiffels so perhaps a small run of about 10 could be possible? Even making a new design to support extra features of the new Eiffel firmware (which Didier has done a grand job of) shouldn't take too long.

For those whos still thirsty of PS2 devices on Atari i can propose Eiffel with newest firmware and in few options.

Like TOWER version (ST,FALCON - with or without JOY ports, or ports on ribbon), MEGA ST/E/TT External version closed in small case :)

And in optional every each with LCD module as extra.

just ask me for, can be in polish ;)

Sorry, just a bit confused...
Are you the one making them? If so how much will it cost for a version with joystick connectors? If not who do I have to contact?
Thank you
:)

Just to let everyone know that today I got an Eiffel adapter by AGO and it works perfectly. I haven't tried it in everything but moving the mouse is so smooth and the keyboard seems so much more responsive. It all went smoothly and I' d like to thank AGO for everything. I hope he'll make more hardware projects so I can consume them ;)

I don't think it would be proper for me to disclose a price in public. You should probably contact Pawel for that. I can say though that it was cheaper than going to ebay.de buying an st and having it shipped to Greece. And I had a couple of wonderful hours with it today. Using a roller in the atari is just beautiful. Now I have to think how to make a case for it since my original idea on how to place it in the standard falcon wasn't that great....A carton box wouldn't be that good would it?
