Signatures
Dear users,
Well we received complaints about the size of the pictures used by some mates. We are totally agree: that makes the reading difficult.
In order to keep a safe forum (in spite of the presence of both other administrators named Ducky 'Maarten' Duck and Celine 'Mattias' Dion), we added a new feature on the forum. It enables to restrict the size of the signature, such as the picture and the number of lines used.
So the new rules are:
- the size of the picture can't exceed 400x50 pixels
- the weight of the picture can't exceed 15 KB
- the text can't exceed 100 caracters
- the text can't exceed 5 lines
The rules will affect new accounts. We ask old users to apply them, even if we can't prevent their current signature to transgress these rules (unless we press the 'delete all signatures' button, which we won't do).
Thanks for reading,
Brume.

Good move. But I think it should be applied to old users as well...

uh, sob
Only 50 pixels high, but 400 pixels wide. Strange aspect ratio if you ask me.
However, if this is the Will of the Council (do we have one?) then of course I'll comply and try to set a good example
(gonna have to find myself a new avatar, any ideas? Actually, I grabbed this as a desparate "for now" avatar, it's a screenshot from an Amiga game but it kinda grew on me)

I think you may have made the same mistake I did when I read this topic first, the images being referred to aren't the avatars but the images that can be put in the signatures. I know I was thinking "400 pixel wide avatars, that won't leave much room for text!"

/me bows head in shame and corrects erroneous ways
however, if anyone tries anything about ass kicking with me, then we'll se who ownz in all fighter games ever concieved (especially DOA2-3, Soul Calibur 1 and of course IK+)
I was so focused on the avatar that I completely forgot about the topic at hand; the signature. Silly me.

I would like to make a signature banner bar similar to yours.
Do you know any online website or tutorial to make them?
NOTE: I found Userbar Generator software!!! And an old URL userbars.org (archive.org).
Thanks and best regards,
Shark
