DATALITE - Serial No.?

Post by FatRakoon »

I am, NOT asking for anything illegal here.

I only really ant to play about to be honest.

I have Datalite 2 and when I had my Mega ST and STE I played with this for a giggle and it was just that, a giggle, however ,lets not cut the rubbish, it was ridiculously slow.

I just fancy playing about with it again.... Not for any serious reasons, because with MAGIC and MINT I have access to big partitions if needed, and I kind of just want to play about.

The thing is, that I have ZERO clues as to where the hell I got it from???
I thought that it might have come with HiSoft Basic, or Power Basic maybe, but I cannot find the serial number and some of the disks dont work.,.. Probably the FloppyDrive actually cos floppies seem to be random if they work or not?

So, does anyone have a serial number that I can use, or, maybe give me a hint as to where the heck I got my copy from??
Was it with any other packages?

As I said, I dont want to do anything illegal, but who the hell would lose out if I did?

Excellent. Thank you.

I see on the filename that it says HiSoft so it MUST be where I got it from originally so why the hell cant I find the Serial?
Anyway, cheers my friend.

Just a silly addition to this...

I have downloaded the files, but the thing needs to be run from the orignal disk?
I have tried this on the TT, Falcon and Anarym and Hatari and I have used the filews, plus made disks out of the ST Image but it still does not get the disk. Not been able to use it?

I have looked on a load of my old Hisoft disks and its definitely not there, nor do I have a seperate Disk either, and thats annoying.
One thing I have realised is that I have somehow lost my HiSoft Basic 2 and DevPac 3 Manuals, so Im really annoyed about that.
