Hi All !
I have obtained an Atari 2080STf yesterday. After a bit of cleaning (didn't open it up since it still has the warranty seal on it) you can see how it looks here (pictures taken with a VGA camera of a Sony Clie handheld - so they aren't the best):

I couldn't find much info about it on the net though. According to some sites it is very rare, and according to some others it has been sold in Europe but not for that long... This site says only a few dozen or so are out there ???

Anyway - anyone knows about how rare this machine really is and how much is it worth ?
It is very nice... I love the floppy with the huuuge eject button and the extra memory...
Best regards,
Tomaz

That's not the point... the point is, the machine has not been tampered with inside if it still has a valid warranty sticker. Kind of like a collectable is worth more if it's in the original packaging.030falcon030 wrote:i would not worry about the warranty sticker im pretty sure it has no warranty

Hi!
I have got some more info about this 2080STf of mine :
It was officially sold by the only official distributer of Atari computers in Slovenia: "Mladinska Knjiga". It was made specially for this market together with the all-blue front label and the plastic back serial plate.
I got this info from someone in the newsgroups who also has one of this kind at home and he bought it himself there.
So it is not a hack/relabeling job but an official Atari 2080STf
Best regards,
Tomaz
