Hi All
I saw this on facebook today in the Codemasters group and got me thinking about the ST version of this game.
As I'm at work I cant fire it up and test my images/cracks etc, does anyone have information on this? I assume its is a resource issue/game slow down by playing the music, but would wonder if be OK on STe for example?
Alternatively, could this be patched to run this music (if there's not a version already)?

Re: Crystal Kingdom Dizzy
Works very well. Tried it on the STX versions from Atarimania. The Game Genie PW input screen was a nice touch.
The Amiga MOD rips can be found here: https://www.exotica.org.uk/wiki/Crystal_Kingdom_Dizzy (Amiga file format, so mod.filename)
Alternatively, I've attached them here, with the correct filename.mod format.

That's pretty damned cool. Gonna have to check it out. Not sure I ever finished that one either now I think about it. Saying that, didn't ever finish some of the others because they were so hard

Just so it can be copied and pasted the password is: CH7E8WOV7
The 7th letter is the letter O not the number 0 (zero). If you get the password wrong it doesn't give you the chance to type it again and it just loads level 1.
I couldn't get the game to load on STEEM or even STEEM SSE 4.0 (Disk Error), but it runs OK on SainT 2.40
I guess the chip music uses about 7% CPU time but a mod-player on an STE at 12.5kHz would use 15-20% CPU time so I guess it would be hard to crack and hard to patch. I haven't checked if Flame Of Finland/Superior #136 version has the extras removed to save space.

Re: Crystal Kingdom Dizzy
Thanks all for the input. Would be interesting to see if a version could be patched to include the Amiga music playing perhaps, whilst may not be best on real machine, perhaps OK for an emulated version?

Re: Crystal Kingdom Dizzy
With Steem, insert disk A in drive A and disk B in drive B. It should work

Looking for a CosmosEx unit for Falcon...
Re: Crystal Kingdom Dizzy
Yes, you are right. It does work on STEEM. STEEM assumes that drive B: is enabled by default and the disk 2 should be in drive B:
