Dear Atari fans.
There's a well known FTP server hosting all sorts of Atari stuff: ftp://ftp.pigwa.net/ (just use anonymous/email-address username/password) that needs some tlc. Good folks who take care of the server want to rebuild it and need some funds.
Please help if you can - any change will do: https://www.patreon.com/pigwa/
For those who can't use patreon - there's also a bank account setup for donations (please note that even smallest transfers are in most cases free within EU):
Bank: ING Bank Śląski S.A.
IBAN: PL55 1050 1908 1000 0023 1357 0505
BIC/SWIFT: INGBPLPW
Account name: Pigwa FTP
message: Na koszta utrzymania Pigwy + name/nick
Thanks,
Adam
Full disclosure - I'm not part of the team who owns the server, I have never seen the guys. All I know is that they have been doing a great job over last decades and I support them.

Hi, Azbest here. Thanks for that post. Let me add few things. PIGWA net is not only ftp archive (btw: you can access it's file with http protocol: http://ftp.pigwa.net/). We do quite a lot... A brief list of our 'activities' is available on our patreon post
We would be more than happy if you support us in any way - if you prefer PayPal let me know.
The truth is we had some hardware failures this year (power supply - twice!, mainboard, RAID controller, few disks) and we have to buy new server and stuff…

Re: Atari FTP
Hi! Well, many things changed. I'm not sure you aware but we at last have a decent hardware to run archive on. In this area we are good. We are doing our best to grow stuff archived, host new services, pages etc. New ISP is about to be installed (faster transfers) but... in a meantime we had failures of two disks in RAID and both of SSD cache disks ought to be replaced (since estimated live remaining is 0)
As for donations - well, we are thankful for any and each one of them. We have some kind donators who help us run it but - please don't get me wrong - we still got to add some extra cash - to pay for internet connection, power, hardware (hardware failures to be exact). Fortunately, thanks to our donators it's like a walk in the park - it's nothing to be campared with former situation.
Anyway - thanks for asking
