From where was it ripped?

Post by NiceGuyUK »

I'm listening to the Mad Max tune entitled AJH 99 (from GZH 39), and its one of my favourite pieces by Mr Hippel. I've learned how to play it on my Yamaha synth and might even do a cover version.

But where was it ripped from? What does AJH 99 stand for (Another Jochen Hippel written in 1999?)

Hope someone knows :)

It's perhaps not even ripped from anywhere, in 1997/1999 a few unknown tunes from Mad Max appeared (at first as .prg i think).
Probably unreleased stuff he gave to the scene. :)

Yes... Jochen had a few unreleased tunes lying around on some disks... others included

1.snd
2.snd
newmusic.snd
faith.snd
bomber.snd
car_race.snd
virtescp.snd

later he modified his TFMX editor to utilise the 'buzzer' technique (as seen at STNICCC ;) ) check out

buzzer.snd

So nobody mentioned that AJH stands for ANDREAS JOCHEN HIPPEL... which is his full name.

LOL you weren't lying then! 15 years! Anyway if you don't mind some criticism I found the compression too strong.
