Avalon (Steinberg), the sound processing software.

Ávalon has its specific dongle. You can also use the cracked version (without dongle):

https://www.mediafire.com/file/4t6dnku0 ... n.rar/file

There you have 2 versions (Elite and MCA) and a manual in PDF format. Tell us which one works best for you.

Thanks for sharing! But folder Avalon v3.77 (Vectronix) is empty :(
On the other side of the screen, it all looks so easy.

Thanks for notifying.
Ignore the Avalon of Vectronix, that software has the same name but is not of musical utility.

There was also the Steinberg 16Bit D/A interface for Avalon which plugged into the cartage port.

Yeah, I am fortunate to have the Steinberg 16-Bit D/A.

See link as there are not many good photos on the net.

Actually Mr Atarieterno, I have recently joined the Plasmec ADAS-ST club, I remember you are an owner.

Is there a way to run Avalon on Hatari? I created floppies from the MCA and Elite folders using zip2st, but Avalon crashes when opening the .prg files.

Hey thank you so much Atarieterno! :)

This 2 disk crack version is the only version that Ive been able to get past the bouncing ball screen! Seems to work ok, although Ive only tried it in Hatari and it has output option for Atari DMA sound greyed out. Maybe it works on a real Ste?
Later on I will have a go on my Mega4 and even try it on a TT!

I wonder if I can use a Replay16 sampler instead of the Steinberg 16-bit card?
