usb controller is supported, I got a 8bitdo bluetooth controller and adaptor instead.

Here are some photos of my modified childhood Genesis. The board was no good anymore and I didn't wanna waste time fixing it when I have another working High Definition 1601. So... I made this one a MiSTer console.

(ugly) MisterSFC

- uses the original power input jack, power switch and LED
- uses the original controller port #1 (passed through to a SNES-USB adapter)
- uses the original Nintendo-multiout for audio/video

I'm using it exclusively on a CRT, that's why I don't need an HDMI-out.
I'll either add one USB-port to the back or wire it to controller port #2 and use it with an external adapter cable.

The DE10 is secured by four screws through the bottom shell, the USB hub (hidden underneath the SNES-USB adapter)
and the SNES-USB adapter are held down by double sided sticky tape.
Heat/air circulation hasn't been a problem...yet.

Add some detail picture。
The NES mini room is crowded，I have cut all plastic pin inside;
Use a very small 4 output usb hub(I use only 2 output);
Use a soft flat hdmi cable (90°standard male to mini female)extend the hdmi socket;
Use a self made micro usb femal socket to dc male connectting the original micro usb hole to mister, and I use a magnetic power cable(just like old Macbook )
Use a led getting 3V power from GPIO;
Use the original daughter board of the NES mini, start up and shutdown is controlled by the power button;
Since the original reset switch is cut off by default, turn on by pressing, i was a little complex to make it control the reseting of mister, finally I give up;
BTW, the hot melt adhesive is great help for the modding.

The SSD is inside the game cartridge. I can access the mSD card from the extension port.

The reset button works, it opens the menu from the Mister. I had to block the eject button.

It's a bit too cramped, I'm worry it's going to overheat, maybe I'll pierce holes through the eject button.

My MiSTer. Not the prettiest (hot snot and cable ties FTW)... A bit of recycling going on here with the enclosure being an old LaCie NAS. 128MB RAM now added. Tis a wonderful thing.

BBond007 and AndreasWachter, and anyone else attempting a build of Mister in an Amiga 1200 setup. I am joining this niche club and have a Keyrah as previously mentioned, I now have my brand new A1200 case, and am waiting on my new keyboard and keycaps. I figure I am ready to start my build since the keyboard is simply a connection to the Keyrah. I would love and appreciate any PM and yt videos showing any completed builds and images that can help me complete mine. I dreamed of this for my MIST and plan to make it for MiSTer,

I'd love to know anything and everything about 1 vs 2 fire button setups (I don't think Keyrah supports 4 button CD32- only 1 fire button and MAYBE 2).
So if I use usb for controllers, Can I fit my current multi-port add-on board or even a Blisster? I have a Bliss Box already so am happy to stick with that if nothing else. My I/O board was an all in one with RTC and built in SDram. Probably I can't use that AND my 128mb memory expansion. Do you have multi usb inputs on the outside of the case for multi player joystick and keyboard mouse?

This is the first time I've held an Amiga ANYTHING but I am good with building computers so keen to learn the best setup method.

Is a fan really needed? We have run tons of FPGA in our research lab and never put a fan. I suspect a simple heatsink might be enough, if needed at all.

I understand that if the case has limited airflow due to small venting slots, then the fan might become necessary. But only when a case is used.

I 3D printed the NegSol case v5.2 from thingiverse, and I think the slots are very small... not much airflow will be allowed. I am not using the case yet. I might use it in the future. Due to the small venting slots, a fan might be necessary then.

So far, I have been enjoying my de10-nano with Mister without a case, fan or heatsink for over a week now, mostly playing with the Minimig core. I had no problems from any overheating. The FPGA gets warm but not hot. I am planning to put a heatsink on the FPGA soon. I'd rather avoid having a fan because I hate that fan noise. Part of the enjoyment I have is the silence of the whole thing, compared to my PC and RPi which both sound like rattling jet engines when the fans are spun up.

I think the bare circuit board with the blinking lights, see through plexiglass top, and brass feet that came with the official DE10 nano kit looks cooler than any case.

EDIT: Ok I managed to put my Mister in the case. It wasn't easy and required a bit of force. I also added a heatsink to the FPGA, and ordered one of those ultraquiet fans and a fan pcb from http://www.misteraddons.com
