Slingshot - are you going to incorporate ManuFerHi tape loading input (from audio sounds)?

seastalker - glad your enjoying Pinball Dreams, hopefully we will get some Youtubers reviewing it soon :D

If there's a demand, maybe one day. I cannot test it. In theory you can load from the UART pin right now, just won't have sound.

Of course. If you write a TZX/CDT parser in Verilog (on MiSTer, it's done in the ARM CPU).

Ah, ok. It's not so important, I prefer to load dsk.

It was only a curiosity

@Slingshot: Could you take away this other doubt?
Thanks

For the masochistic users, who wants to load original tapes, I've added a simple CDT player to the Amstrad core. Tested successfully with some CDTs from cpc-power.com, but it's possible that not all features covered (as TZX format is much more complicated - but the files are smaller - than TAP files for the Commodores).

Until it lands in Sorgelig's repo, you can grab it from https://github.com/gyurco/Amstrad_MiST/ ... 190514.rbf

If there's a CDT which doesn't work, please report.

As a guy called Gerald reverse-engineered the de-capped Amstrad GA chip, and published it on cpcwiki, I started a project to implement it some month ago. Now I finished this job and successfully integrated the new GA into Sorgelig's core, here's a new MiST release:
https://github.com/gyurco/Amstrad_MiST/ ... 200704.rbf

Note that many demos/CRTC tricks are only working on an original Amstrad display (or a CRT), there's an option in Video/Sync signals, where you can enable sync filtering to make them enjoyable on LCD displays. It might be not perfect, but still helps a lot (this comes from the original GA implementation, thus it should give the same compatibility as the previous core).

Thanks to Gerald:
https://www.cpcwiki.eu/forum/amstrad-cp ... y-decapped!/
And to Sorgelig and Freemac for the original cores.

Thanks. I will have to test Batman demo to see if previous glitches have gone.

Just went on CPCWiki, and was amazed that it was 2016 when i posted off a faulty GA chip for the group decapping. Time sure moves quick!
