Me too, I'd like to get a CT60e. I have a 060 Rev.6 waiting already. I also have a 060 Socket available (never used) if that's a blocker.

Re: CT60e is coming :)
I want 2x. I am from Slovakia/EU.
Re: CT60e is coming :)
I am back up to 5 Falcons, and one spare CT60e.
The one I would consider selling is a VGC Falcon CLAB MK1. Will not sell separately.
Mentioned this unit before, so far it's been my "keeper" as it's in the best condition of my Falcons, and sits covered.
There are either photos and videos of the unit here on AF and the Atari Falcon FB group. Do your homework to find them.
Join the FB page, if not already a member. If you "can't" join (I've heard that story already) too bad.
Just like eBay, if you've just signed up on AF to search for a Falcon, please don't waste my time asking a thousand questions you can find via the Internet. The Falcon may be a new machine to you, they came out in 1992, the information is there.
To current Falcon and like legacy Atari owners, the likely hood of you too owning already one Falcon is possible, I've owned 9 in the past at one time, so consider owing more than one before really letting the fact you have already one drive you to beg to have me split up the two. The fee to separate the two units is $250 added to a finalized cost. There, beg away.
Shipping is near $80 in the 48, plus insurance, world wide the USPS ships to, at least $150 plus insurance. Some countries USPS cannot insure a package too, some cannot provide tracking, due to agreement between destination county and USPS. Then if you are an experienced buyer/seller, you already know this.
Go ahead and post comments here, not at a point where I'm asking for personal messages, save that for finalized sales.
Won't necessarily reply, but they will be at least as humorous as some of the negitive comments made throughout the years on Willy's excellent record, to which I just can't conceptualize. He has a great track record.
And yes, the first price that pops in your head is likely far too low

Well, Prof G couldn't get me a proper answer... so here goes..Rustynutt wrote: please don't waste my time asking a thousand questions you can find via the Internet.
My falcon lost several feathers especially the tip feather on the right ( that would be on your left, capt), what type of ointment can I use to make it grow faster?

Super glue is of course the right solution to your problem.
Really, you should of known.
Selling a Falcon to a member here on AF is a daunting process, thus the post. Ones I have sold here, members got easily for half the going auction prices. Auctions present their own problems.
I prefer to take about "half interest" between the two where price is concerned, but you would be surprised at how many will PM you to death with free shipping to countries that don't exist, plead their currency is only worth 90% of another's (I'm guilty of that as well), and a family member just passed and they really need a deal

When I actually price something out, I look at what I (over) paid, the cost of all accessories (have a lot of options here), boxing, shipping and currency exchange and cost. That alone starts those looking into piss and moan mode.
When someone comes, with hand in my pocket from thousands of miles away, yes, serve up an attitude.
I realize, yes, it's the way of the internet. Those in the US, and elsewhere, I'm sure wouldn't think twice of dropping 2k on a new Falcon, with today's available hardware, if Toad Computer was still in business

Re: CT60e is coming :)
Rustynutt I don't understand, who were you originally replying to? Isn't this a thread for people to show interest in ct60e... I don't get it

Falcon CT60e 060 - 256mb ram - Phantom bus and DSP accelerated // Atari TT - Thunder and Storm IDE 64mb ram - Lightning VME - USB LAN - ATI Mach64 2mb
Re: CT60e is coming :)
Yes, it got a bit longish.mzry wrote:Rustynutt I don't understand, who were you originally replying to? Isn't this a thread for people to show interest in ct60e... I don't get it
Some here search for a CT63e, and I stated I have spares, but would only consider selling as a bundle with a MK1. Basically.
For those that don't want to wait.
Apologise.
Plus bit of emotional release, without an emoji

Re: CT60e is coming :)
I sold my spare SCSI-IDE adapter together with IDE CF & adapter ( that's 2 adapter all together) for 1/3 the price on ebay, to someone who was using a TT. It was good to be able to help a fellow Atarian as we grew lower in numbers. Anyway, a spare just sits there doing nothing and the electronics may even degrade due to moisture corrosion etc.Rustynutt wrote: Selling a Falcon to a member here on AF is a daunting process, thus the post. I realize, yes, it's the way of the internet.
A lot of ppl on the internet bang on the hope that the selling party does not know the actual going price and ask for some ridiculous low price.
I have done that when recently I was asking for an full working Intel system i7-8700K at $410 at ebay when the CPU itself was near to $400, the seller was on the fence and rejected my offer only to put to BIN price of $410 when I was asleep (even when he knowing that I was 12 hrs timezone apart), of course some other dude got it.

Which pico psu should one buy for this? Does the CT60E work with a 20 pin pico? Im a bit in the dark here which one would fit.
Re: CT60e is coming :)
Just out of curiosity, are there any reliable sources for 68060 CPU's?

Re: CT60e is coming :)
According to lore almost every 68060 from China is fake, especially if advertised as genuine Rev. 6 CPU. There's couple of sellers at ebay who list their products as real Rev. 6 version, but I don't know if chinese CPU market is so infested with fake products that it's pure luck to find what you're looking for? At least you should get money back from ebay if product you ordered is incorrect.dhedberg wrote:Just out of curiosity, are there any reliable sources for 68060 CPU's?
