When I hook it up and turn it on, I get this:

Obviously the problem there is that the menu wants to be in PAL mode, so if I replace menu.rbf with Kitrinx's NTSC version it looks much better:

However, if I load any core (NES, Genesis, etc.) it throws off the video refresh and causes the menu to dance around the screen:
