It reminds me a classic game on Spectrum.

The MAME history.dat file has some trivia on this machine:

This is a game that Sega used to test the hardware, it was developing during the late 1980s through the early 1990s. It's a very small board (about 10cm x 10cm). It was never fully developed or intended to be released to the public.

@Gehstock: thanks for the Burger Time update, the colours look great now!

But I can confirm that the Berzerk 15KHz picture problem is still there, the game display is too big to entirely fit on the screen. VGA is perfect however. The entire Berzerk core is just fantastic!

BTW, I noticed that your Colecovision core works basically as good as the old one (in some parts maybe better), but it seems that it can't load homebrew games anymore, while the old core could. Try a few of the free (with the download symbol) games listed here, like Pooyan for example.

Awesome work on King & Balloon and Berzerk. Are those still in WIP status I take it?

Edit: Oh, I just realized I'm in the MiST subforum, not MiSTer.

@Gehstock

in the last organization in arcade cores, i think you place a folder inside a folder that shouldn't be:

https://github.com/Gehstock/Mist_FPGA/t ... kHole_MiST

blackhole shouldn't be inside z80 based folder?

Thanks

Donation time!
I just became a patreon to jotego today. How about slingshot, sorgelig, gehstock and all the others? How and where to donate to you guys?
On the other side of the screen, it all looks so easy.

I started to extend the arcade cores with a rotatable OSD. Thanks for that goes to Slingshot. At the same time I remove a few mistakes. Many cores lack the signal for YPBPR. Bugreport please here.

@Gehstock - possible at the same time adding open *.rom file from OSD like 1942?

Thanks

because many cores could have hacked roms and alternative versions of roms...
1942, 1943, gng and many other have this... i'm preparing packs of roms for each core
(in 1942 you can try a galaga X hack with C64 music)

because mister has the possibility to have folders, with this you can have several folder with the core and a new rom...

maybe someday we also have open *.rom file in mister :)

that's why i asked :)

Any possibility to get the Williams arcades converted or is there an issue on the MiST?

I've tested all cores from the last weeks on VGA - screen is a Fujitsu E19-7:
https://drive.google.com/open?id=1HFdxR ... 9K3P_ETH7r

Code: Select all

Azurian works, line(s) missing
Bagman works, pixels at right
Birdiy starts, can't insert coin
BlackHole works, no issues
Catacomb works, no issues
Centipede works, gfx glitches
ComputerSpace_MiST works, sound distortion, gfx glitches
CrazyKong works, no issues
Galaxian works, no issues
KingBaloon works, no issues
MoonCresta works, no issues
MrDoNightmare works, no issues
Omega works, no issues
Orbitron works, no issues
Pisces works, line(s) missing
SuperBreakout works, no issues
WarOfTheBugs works, line(s) missing
ZigZag works, no issues
burger_time_mist works, no issues
burnin_rubber_mist works, no issues
canyon_bomber works, no issues
dominos works, no issues
phoenix_mist works, no issues
sprint1 works, no issues
sprint2 works, no issues
Next run will be on YPBPR.
A little anoying thing is that for some core I've to rotate my screen to the left, for some others to the right. But that's nitpicking over tiny details. :D
