It reminds me a classic game on Spectrum.
Re: NEW OR UPDATED ARCADE CORES
The MAME history.dat file has some trivia on this machine:Gehstock wrote:New Core Dottori Kun on my Github
This is a game that Sega used to test the hardware, it was developing during the late 1980s through the early 1990s. It's a very small board (about 10cm x 10cm). It was never fully developed or intended to be released to the public.

@Gehstock: thanks for the Burger Time update, the colours look great now!desUBIKado wrote:Tested Burger Time (OK) and Berzerk (the issue persists)
But I can confirm that the Berzerk 15KHz picture problem is still there, the game display is too big to entirely fit on the screen. VGA is perfect however. The entire Berzerk core is just fantastic!
BTW, I noticed that your Colecovision core works basically as good as the old one (in some parts maybe better), but it seems that it can't load homebrew games anymore, while the old core could. Try a few of the free (with the download symbol) games listed here, like Pooyan for example.
Re: NEW OR UPDATED ARCADE CORES
New Core King & Balloon. VGA needs a Fix(next Days), RGB is working.

Re: NEW OR UPDATED ARCADE CORES
Awesome work on King & Balloon and Berzerk. Are those still in WIP status I take it?
Edit: Oh, I just realized I'm in the MiST subforum, not MiSTer.

Re: NEW OR UPDATED ARCADE CORES
@Gehstock
in the last organization in arcade cores, i think you place a folder inside a folder that shouldn't be:
https://github.com/Gehstock/Mist_FPGA/t ... kHole_MiST
blackhole shouldn't be inside z80 based folder?
Thanks

Re: NEW OR UPDATED ARCADE CORES
I started to extend the arcade cores with a rotatable OSD. Thanks for that goes to Slingshot. At the same time I remove a few mistakes. Many cores lack the signal for YPBPR. Bugreport please here.

Re: NEW OR UPDATED ARCADE CORES
because many cores could have hacked roms and alternative versions of roms...
1942, 1943, gng and many other have this... i'm preparing packs of roms for each core
(in 1942 you can try a galaga X hack with C64 music)
because mister has the possibility to have folders, with this you can have several folder with the core and a new rom...
maybe someday we also have open *.rom file in mister
that's why i asked

Re: NEW OR UPDATED ARCADE CORES
Any possibility to get the Williams arcades converted or is there an issue on the MiST?

I've tested all cores from the last weeks on VGA - screen is a Fujitsu E19-7:Gehstock wrote:I started to extend the arcade cores with a rotatable OSD. Thanks for that goes to Slingshot. At the same time I remove a few mistakes. Many cores lack the signal for YPBPR. Bugreport please here.

A little anoying thing is that for some core I've to rotate my screen to the left, for some others to the right. But that's nitpicking over tiny details.
