Re: What is the best Snapshot for Radeon card
The tool has been updated, and now also includes support for jpeg output.
Re: What is the best Snapshot for Radeon card
HI,
today I tried to test a new version of your snapit and jpg as output file, but it is not working at all on TT and Falcon 030 and 060 mode with or without Radeon card. Under TOS I've on the screen stabdard error in 060 in 030 three bombs, below you can find error information under MiNT. What is interesting output file has allways 4 kB lenght (4096 bytes) and I see only begging screenshot.
If I will have any other comments I will write later

Did you also install the new shared libs from the archive? They have changed, too.
Re: What is the best Snapshot for Radeon card
Yes I copied from this archive from 020 folder JPEG8D.SLB, ZLIB.SLB, and PNGLIB16.SLB to my mint path c:/MINT/SLB.

Re: What is the best Snapshot for Radeon card
I tried SnapIt 1.1 today on my Milan040 with MiNT 1.19 and XaAES. I copied the SLB libraries from the 020 folder to my slb folder before. Unfortunately SnapIt 1.1 crashes when saving the snapshot. A file is created but it's incomplete. I'm using a ATI Radeon Card in my Milan running in high color.
You may take a look on the error message and the output jpeg.

Re: What is the best Snapshot for Radeon card
Under Magic Milan 6.1 it crashes, too. But there's no error message. Only the busy bee that's just stays busy. The output is the same. Again an incomplete jpeg. I also tried it with MiNT 1.17.0 and MyAES 0.97 on my Milan040. Than I'm getting the error message "Error writing file". The last combination, I tried was MiNT 1.17.0 and the patched Version of N.AES 2.0. Again SnapIt is crashing with an error message when saving.

Re: What is the best Snapshot for Radeon card
Hm, bad. Did you try both program versions? There is a snapit.acc that was compiled by Pure-C, and a snapit.prg that was compiled by gcc. The prg can also be run as accessory. And does the crash happen only with jpeg output, or also with others? The message in your picture reports a strange PC, that may indicate that the stack was smashed somehow.Neurotoxic wrote:Under Magic Milan 6.1 it crashes, too.

Re: What is the best Snapshot for Radeon card
Hi ThorstenOtto,
I gave snapshot v1.1 a try and noticed a minor visual thing. When "output truecolor" is enabled the last two letters remain in the disabled color. Using ARanyM + MiNT + NAES + NVDI on my system. If I click "help" it then redraws itself and looks correct. Probably the bounding box of the object is too small.
I get similiar results as above. It crashes saving JPEG and writes a partial file that is always 4096 bytes:
The ACC version also crashed.
