I'll probably update the webpage with used materials and costs later. As for comparison professional hydro dippers wanted to charge £2-300 and I think I got it working under £40. It' would have been even cheaper if there's no minimum order on the stickers.

Agreed, it's a lovely job. Looks like he had transparent labels made with white lettering.

Re stickers:
I've already had the Illustrator file since I made the Black ST and the Chrome before (can be seen on the website). I just had to find a company that prints low volumes on transparent and with white ink. So sent the custom graphics and that's it, they printed it. I also took the opportunity to recreate the light blue set since this one is much better than the ones I used for the Black ST before.

Will upload more photos and let here know. Until that here is a close up of the keys (no F keys at this point).

The film sticks strongly, they use it on car rims as well so it's all about aftercare.
The best is to protect with clear varnish glossy or matt, depending on your project. I move the black ST around quite often to put new ones on my desk, so that shows some wear now. These are not designed to be mobile anyway. But if it's a Mega or TT, I'd be careful putting the monitor on top.

It's briefly explained on the link at first post. Water transfer printed or hydro dipping - whatever you prefer.

I have explored some but not documented here or on my web. And of course takes some time to fully get to know each other. Unfortunately I have so much else going on. But not forgotten.

Ah ok, sorry. Yep it is better to discover on your own than me trying to explain. One YT video can say more than 100 words. You can even create custom films, this is how I made another ST printed with my childhood favourites. It also there on they website.

There is also a method ( the film is called monokote if I'm right) where you wrap your object with a film kind of thing and use a heat gun to adjust but it probably wouldn't work well on such difficult and detailed surface as an ST case.

I did try...didn't work, so stopped spending money on that one. To me the computer was the main thing. Happy with he mouse as is.
