How creat a YM file?

Any tool can creat a YM file? Where is YM file from?

I wanna make some YM music by myself, but have no idea how to do it. Help, my dear friends.

Hatari can record playing YM sound as .ym files. There are options in the GUI.

Take note that YM does not store all information, only VBL timed snapshots of registers. Higher frequency tone effects and samples/digi drums get lost.

I would not recommend using the YM format, use SNDH instead.
