Thank you all for signing. I'm positively surprised to have this many signatures in 24h. Here's a collection of Geneva & Neodesk articles with a interview with the legend himself: http://www.atariancomputing.com/blog/Geneva-Neodesk

Several of the images are broken in that for me -- the ones on Google Drive just give access denied errors…Gaiyan wrote:Thank you all for signing. I've made it a bit more public on Facebook, looking at the numbers just a few hours after the announcement I'd say it was worth it. ;-)

My expectations have been surpassed. Not that I doubted anyone's enthusiasm. 99 signatures so far. Who will be #100?
Re: Petition: Open Source Geneva + Neodesk
Done, now it's #100

An official update: Dan has heard and responded to the petition. You can read it here https://www.change.org/p/dan-wilga-open ... nses/38852. Also the hard drive from a build machine should be making its way to a data recovery company.

Let it be known here in the "official" thread as well; we have an exciting update you can read about here: https://www.change.org/p/dan-wilga-open ... u/20412305
Many thanks to Dan and Tenox, but especially to all of you who signed the petition. This was a group effort. Let's hope we can declare victory soon.

Re: Petition: Open Source Geneva + Neodesk
This is amazing! Lets just hope that there are people out there who would be willing to take on a new open source version once Dan releases it. I wonder what it might turn into? Would it stay as a more 16 bit centric system for low powered machines, or will it scale to high end Ataris with new modern additions. I wonder how hardware will work with it, like drivers for netusbee etc.
