You should throw them up on a locker somewhere.. I got a few as well but not recent ones..vebxenon wrote:Few days ago I downloaded all his arcade cores, except the new update from Pac Man. I hope he will return or somebody will remake his work... He was also working in several console and computer cores.

Re: NEW OR UPDATED ARCADE CORES
He could still publish his code minus the copyrighted part.ericgus wrote:copyright infringement notices?
I guess this shows the need to have a core load data externally to avoid such problems. But obviously that's harder to write since you need to grab the files from the SD card and store them in memory.
Re: NEW OR UPDATED ARCADE CORES
Where would be a good place to upload the cores? I grabbed many of his working arcade cores including Pacman.
Re: NEW OR UPDATED ARCADE CORES
Well you could try mega.nz but I dont know the pros or cons of various places..NML32 wrote:Where would be a good place to upload the cores? I grabbed many of his working arcade cores including Pacman.
Re: NEW OR UPDATED ARCADE CORES
May be problem not in copyrights... May be he was upset by something/someone.

Re: NEW OR UPDATED ARCADE CORES
SUPER!!!
I really like these old arcade games, but have very little time to play with them.

Re: NEW OR UPDATED ARCADE CORES
Does his new repository on github contain his updated cores or is it just a direct clone of the main mist repository.?RobertK wrote:I'm glad to announce that Gehstock's repository is back again ("joined 7 hours ago"):

Has anyone checked if they are his updated cores?

All his arcade cores seem to be there...
The last arcade core I downloaded was the Phoenix core dated 2017-02-09 15:33. The current Phoenix core is binary different and 1KB bigger. Maybe he made a complete rebuild.

Re: NEW OR UPDATED ARCADE CORES
That's really good news. I only came here to look if there is news regarding this, because he did a lot of great work recently, so I am very relieved. Thank you Gehstock!
Re: NEW OR UPDATED ARCADE CORES
Hello,
i've tried all updated cores and option in OSD for rotating screen doesn't works.
This happens on all cores where this option is avaiable
i've tried to save settings and reset core too but no changes

The Rotate Screen setting in the OSD doesn't physically rotate the screen It rotates the direction of the Joystick controls 90°
You still need to rotate your screen.

Re: NEW OR UPDATED ARCADE CORES
Yes, thanks a lot. I have looked into some of the readme files, I assume "analog" controls refers to the d-sub controls?
Re: NEW OR UPDATED ARCADE CORES
I think that "analog" refers to the DB9 ports of the MIST.

Yes, you're right. Yesterday I tested all the cores, and that's the "analog" controlDanyPPC wrote:I think that "analog" refers to the DB9 ports of the MIST.
