No more preserved titles ?

Post by Maartau »

No more preserved titles since a long moment.

What I understand/see :

- People don't want to share anymore,
- People don't reply to PM,

I'm just wondering why ?

I've put mine on hold as having a mini-break. Finally got an Xbox One back in April, so that's mostly been taking up my time :) Or binge-watching TV series.
My main site: http://www.mug-uk.co.uk - slowly digging up the bits from my past (and re-working a few): Atari ST, Sega 8-bit (game hacks) and NDS (Music ripping guide).

I develop a free Word (for Windows) add-in that's available for Word 2007 upwards. It's a fix-it toolbox that will allow power Word users to fix document errors. You can find it at: http://www.mikestoolbox.co.uk

I know most of us have reached 40' y'o & more, family, job, less time for the atari hobby, maybe another hobby, ...

On the other hand, I also reckon games have reached high prices.

That's life, all must die a day, it includes mentalities : Web/forums were a nice place years ago, but now all is gone.

I am in the process of moving from Darwin to Brisbane and all my stuff is currently in storage until we sell our house.

I haven't had too much free time with my new job. Sorry. Once everything settles down I will start adding to my collection again.

Hi everyone :D :D :D ,

Glad to read news from all of you, specially if all is fine. (I'm feeling less alone : that's due to the fact I spend all my life behind a screen).

Hope having not hurt anybody with my too strong words : my apologizes  , it wasn't the aim.

With time, there's less & less people :( : the forum is a place where we are a small community, I know everybody's got a "real life" (and people haven't to tell why they can't reply in fact  ).

So... Also Happy Holidays, I understand some of us prefers enjoying "real life" then staying behind a screen.

"I posted there as I will buy some HW around September : I can't afford to buy games but I'm still interested by all what concerns protections/copylocks (FDC rules :) ! Real HW rocks :D !)".

Anyway, once again I'm feeling better after having news from you : just few words & I'm happy 8) .

Many many thanks for your replies

next archives :

There are some impossible to find titles like Orthophus Tome 2 from VTA (i know Marcer searched it!), and some others like OIDS, Legend of the Sword, Merchant Colony, a very rare version of Exonathan Maths 4ème in Monochrome version (yay!), French system disk for Atari ST and STE, and STbudget from logisoft, also very rare i guess.

Enjoy !!

I understand, that's holidays, real life, etc...

In fact, having news from "regulars users" is really nice to my eyes, specially since Bod/STAX left us...

I think IPF files are not distributed just like that, SPS policy.
But the CTR and SCP versions work too, so there's no problem?
I made a Steem patch to pass protection (what a cr4ck3r!), at least in apparence.

Code: Select all

076636 = $6600 $0002
Edit: may as well upload the patch...

well it can be a good idea, but don't forget the cheat code for this game is a code to enter in the protection screen :)

Indeed IPF distribution is restrained by policy :)
