you'll find this data on the left hand side of a fitted board
i will send direct a tested working 8MB board {ill fit 8MB ram 70ns fast page to a 2MB board that arrives first and so on...}
total cost £25 inc postage
if you have a board that has DIL chips fitted it can also be done
but you need to send me the board ill refit and send it back
as i need to use chip converters for it
ive come up with a better dil to soj converter board and ive asked for 100 to be made they are double boards soldered together
top is SOJ bottom is a sturdy turned pin dil pin set and all will still fit under a 2MB riser card in sockets i checked...!!
so i can do this older type of STRAM riser but will take longer and cost about £35 inc post
10MB is the max it can count to not sure on use i think you need to use the vme port for any more ram
some people say its 12MB it can 'see' total but the pic below is with 8MB onboard and 8MB riser 16 in total but counts too 10MB
you can move it back to 2MB by changing the two jumpers on the 2/8MB risers
just if there is any ste etc program breaks you can limit the ram
i can on request add a switch to the board 4 or 10MB you can mount on the TT somewhere
i can also supply 16X 1MbX4 already mounted to the risers and tested working as a set
incase you have a rev a-c board and stram 2MB onboard as dil chips 256KbX4 type like 4256 is a 256KbX4bits in sockets
but youll need to add a buffer and a resistor to the main boards to use 8MB onboard this applies to all revisions
you can then use someone spare 2MB riser board that also has dils
as most people with rev a-c TT will if they got an addin ram have a 2MB with dils
the risers are quite easy to upgrade
