The Low Res magazine needs your graphics support!

Post by simonsunnyboy »

The Low Res magazine wants to expand and we need your graphics support. Currently we still lack a nice logo to be shown on screen.
We basically will need a large banner type logo for the page header and for each issue a cover graphic. The banner should be around 600x256 pixels large, the cover banners maximum width of 400pixel to fit in the layout of the blog engine.

If you want to help us, give us a hand and show your graphics. If you want to chat with us, join #lowres on IRCNet and we'll discuss.

I like that! Atari logo and a GEM desktop + window. You are very talented Greyfox! You have our sincere thanks!

In the meantime, we are all fighting with RL obligations but there are some articles in the repository and a few more in our hard drives pending deliberation for how to proceed with them. There will be a new issue of LowRes that's for sure, but we have failed to deliver on our promise for more regular issues. We hope to make that up with quality. And also, the invitation for anyone who has something to say and would like to do so in an article form is still very much open ;).

all the best

Greyfox™

Edit..MugUK has brought to my attention I had "please Insert Disc" instead it should be "Please Insert Disk" changed now and also the Atari scene mag text, it wasn't readable before but is now..so please update with the logo.

Thanx Mike nothing slips passed your watchful eye

That "bloke" is a comic representation of C64 musician Rob Hubbard because this particular TEX intro featured some of Rob's songs ported to the YM2149. I think it is called "Little Sound Demo"

No probs :)
My main site: http://www.mug-uk.co.uk - slowly digging up the bits from my past (and re-working a few): Atari ST, Sega 8-bit (game hacks) and NDS (Music ripping guide).

I develop a free Word (for Windows) add-in that's available for Word 2007 upwards. It's a fix-it toolbox that will allow power Word users to fix document errors. You can find it at: http://www.mikestoolbox.co.uk

Th reference is actually that Disc refers to a "CD disc" but Disk refers to "Floppy Disk" and since cd rom drives weren't around in the days of the ST so it's politically correct :)
