Any chance this will work with a Peavey DPM 4 synth? It uses a DD floppy drive in ST or DOS format.
I might want a couple of them if so

Thanks,
Beej

Greeeat work Jeff.
v1.1.2.3 Is working![]()
Changing HFE files (changing floppies) now is detected for both Mint and TOS on my Falc as media change.
Open drive A:, close drive A window, change HFE files, open drive A:, the new floppy directory is read in.
No more funny workaround like open drive B: to force a directory read.

Yes this should works.
Anyway i don't know what kind of floppy connection it uses so a check is needed.
Yes you can !Shredder11 wrote:I've had a look through the SD version manual; can I assume that you can make folders for each different computer you have? If yes I will buy one large 16GB SD card to contain the images for my STE, Falcon 030, Amstrad CPC6128 and Sinclair ZX Spectrum +3 128K.
Folders works very well.Shredder11 wrote:I've had a look through the SD version manual; can I assume that you can make folders for each different computer you have? May be rocket-doggy should try this...Shredder11 wrote:That's great news
I don't know about SatanDisk, but I have an STe with faulty DMA chip and my UltraSatan works perfect. Only problem is with files bigger than 30 MB, but I never reach it on my Ataridma wrote:It will make my life easier for composing on STe (as many come with buggy DMA chip, and then don't work with SantaDisk).
I have to recognize that mostly I used it for transfering files from the PC to the ST, but I also transfered files from the ST to the PC, so at some point I wrote on the US. I'll do an accurate test though. Thanks for highlighting it to medma wrote:Even when writing? Because that's the problematic point on these.
You aware that this uses the SD like a floppy which means you can only access files up to the size of the floppy.dma wrote:I finally ordered one.

Did you know that you can generate a "monster floppy" image with the software (4.23MB on ST) ?dma wrote:720k isn't a problem to me, i'm talking about chip-music composing.
Ah yes true, i used that already on the USB version.Jeff_HxC2001 wrote:Did you know that you can generate a "monster floppy" image with the software (4.23MB on ST) ?
Wow, that would be fantastic!Jeff_HxC2001 wrote:Additionally i plan to make a HDD driver for ST to turn the SD HxC Floppy Emulator as a Hard Disk drive !
