BTW, the STX single edit you find at aitpasti is the "Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles - The Coin Up (1991)(Image Works)".

The supplier renamed it bad by "Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles (1990)(Image Works)".

To my knowledge, the only one for 1990 we have ATM is the "Movies collection version" (also found @ AITPASTi).

But I'm little disappointed that you did not put STX of Encounter on Atarimania (less known game), Monster Business is also sent to you... I know, there is a lot of games, but some titles are worth of attention

Apologies, I have it probably in my work folder. I have around 100 games still to add and only couple of hours time a week so I know it's going to take forever to test, prepare screenshots and find info for each title

There's a simple solution to speed up this work: More active Atarimania members

Maartau: I'll check the Teenage Mutant stuff, thanks As far as I tested Atarimania's Fighter Bomber pasti should work (tried couple of missions), only thing I discovered it won't go past intro if you're using over 512k.

Encounter is posted here, in Pasti section, couple months ago.

I post here 2 archives with STX images of Warp. One is 1 floppy, other is 2 floppy version. Man who made 2 floppy version claims that it works for him in Steem. I did everything what could - tried with different pasti versions, different RAM sizes, pasti settings... Even with new, fresh install of Steem. With Saint. But it crashes always (both versions in same way, few seconds after reset). As I see, it is because of tricky code in bootsector. With DualCore P5 and P4 at 2.8 GHz.

If someone manage it to work, please write your exact Steem, Pasti settings, used HW, OS.

P.S. I will look about joining Atarimania, myself or someone near .

Apart from imaging, there'S also scanning disks, manuals and other stuff and simply gathering information which are a big part of preservation of the Atari gaming culture.
Should we post some scanning guidelines? Let me start off with some of my thoughts on this...
To my experience, high resolution is important.
Also clean disks... some people scan disks, which is great, but forget to wipe off dust and fingerprints. I usually clean the plastic surface of the disks with a cloth on which I put a bit of alcohol disinfectant.
The metal part is too fragile (it even discolours when you touch it with just slightly sweaty fingers or a moist cleaning cloth for glasses). Don't get too close to it or any of the other openings of the disk (the metal parts and holes that lead to the magnetic disks or the magnetic disk itself are too vulnerable ).
Tell me your ideas on this.

Thanx. I was on same - that it's emulation problem, not that Pasti image(s) self is bad.
Btw. Stardust works well under Steem from pasti images. Same for Tower of Babel.

- In case where you/we/I haven't pass codes, and for testing, I reckon STeem patch function as great.

- Like this, most of the games loaded at fix adresses can be memory patched (and of course trained !).

- Agree with SOFist as "No needs to redo some cracks already perfectly running"... Often, those piracy intros should be removed for multi-machines .

When speaking to Warp cracks, there is one in Pulse 13 (XIII) too. I don´t are sure (don´t remember) but it is mayby Superior crack.

Edit 2: And Prince by Arc (St series - Leisure disk 4. Year 1990.).
I had original Prince (year 1989) disk too, but it is broken.

I dl'ed the PULSE Menu XIII & Warp is the Superior version. The Fallen Angels cracked version still bugs : I can't redo it at all ATM . [At least with STeem, I'll try to debug the F.A crack using Saint...].

Well, i have read and learned like you at the same time, Warp is using a copylock. I was not aware fo this. But this would explain why i'm unable
to image even the amiga version. The copylock is well hidden then !

The password is 17623 for the ICS crack & you need to keep the disk unprotected.

Anyway, I'll crack it with your PASTi in the evening & post results .

First, a good news : here are the codes for "The Short Grey" (thanks to -Mr nours- ).

If you want to play the ICS cracked Short Grey, follow the rules :

- using two drives : insert the 2nd disk in drive B or you'll get a message error ("52") after the codes entry ... and you'll be redirected to the desktop

- plus keep the first disk unprotected .

- and finally type 17623 as code.

*** For those who asking why it crashes at the load : it's due to an exec "setting colors to black" & that's all ! -> no importance as the game loads anyway .

** The password protection is called in an external exec & the game is packed using ICE...

This seems to be a very interesting title. Too bad it is in french language only.

the game can run on HDisk by putting all the files in the same folder. [Warning : some files have same names from a floppy to another.].

Before writing further about it, I need a couple of hours to play while tracing .
