My Love for Atari Wallpapers

Hi..everyone..hope you are all feeling good..as for a long time I've always wanted to show my love for Atari...and with my photoshop skill have decided to share for the first ever with the Atari Forum community...a selection of wallpapers I created over the years..so I hope you enjoy them and feel free to use them if you wish..this post is not a condescending / ego trip or me stating to be a show off ...it's simple a love for this best years of my computer history..which started with Atari

enjoy ;)

all the wallpapers where created with Photoshop and are 1024x768 resolution...due to upload limits I have an image host to display the artwork

The First is my Atari Days Wallpaper...it's my avatar aswell...can you guess and name all the game characters?

The second is my Atari VCS Game Coverart for the AtarI VCS a collection of boxart for your desktop

The Third is Atari ST Gameart...another collection of game box art covers....

The Forth is another collection of atari box..minus the evildead image..I just it looked great..and also this is CGI aswell..created in 3d studio max..enjoy

The Final Image..I created totally in Photoshop..and the history behind this one...well....I redid from a very old and rare Image I had over 20yrs ago now...it was given to me from a very good friend at Sony...it was the only time Sony & Atari had anything to do with each other..the Image was given to Reps in Sony as a gift..which in turn was given to me...The Image slogan was "Play Games on Atari (VCS 2600 at the time!) on your Sony TV".. why Star Wars was used as a theme for Atari VCS games I'll never know?...if anyone here has seen the original version or has a scan of it...please upload it..this was all done from Memory..

They look great! Thanks. Could you have the Fuji with colors by itself? Just a black background so the colors look bright! I love the color spectrum inside.

Well for the fun of it I converted the colorful fuji to the ST photochrome format from a standard 512 color ST. This picture does flicker more than I care for but still looks good.

I love the first and last wallpapers. The box scan ones though (although nice) would IMO make it hard to see desktop icons.

The one without the game characters is now my desktop background - nice work Greyfox

They all look awesome.... as someone else said you do have talent.... one of your wallpapers had a picture of the Barbarian box... man did that bring back memories or what.

But wouldn't it actually be the home PONG game that Atari marketed under Sears ?
It is made by Atari but under a different name, but it's only Pong on it.
