Spectracube Invasion - Information Needed
Hi,
I specially registered to ask you, the experts in this forum about Spectracube Invasion as I happen to have the game. After quite a long search in the net I was unable to find information about the rarity of the cartridge and approximate current price. There are indications in a few web pages that it's a rare one, is that correct and if so how rare it is? The only place I found some sort of information of it's price was in a wishlist in different forum. The person there mentions that he is prepared to pay 75USD for the game, but the post is from 2005 and I guess that this may have changed during the years. Could you please advise me of a round figure?
Thank you for your help in advance!
Regards

Re: Spectracube Invasion - Information Needed
That looks like an Atari 2600 8-bit game, this forum is really dedicated to the later Atari 16/32 bit machines.
You could try over at https://atariage.com/forums/ , they have a specific Atari 2600 forum.

There is some info on atariboxed.com. They don't have a picture of the cart.

That's interesting. According to AtariMania, it has a "Holy Grail" icon meaning "3 or less known to exist".

Thank you for your answers!
I've been to the pages suggested above by acsi, but I didn't know what the little golden cup in the rarity section meant. Thanks to LongLifeA1200 now I know what it means. Thus is a good sign.
There is one more page indicating that it's a quite rare game:
http://www.atariboxed.com/index.php?go= ... number=443
I just registered in the forum suggested by Zippy and hope to get a bit more info there.
Still, if someone have some sort of knowledge about this game here, I will be happy to find out more.
I will update the topic if I have better answer over the other forum for the ones who got interested and to have a bit more data about the game online.
Thank you very much!

Moved to 8Bit corner as this is clearly Atari 2600 stuff and not Atari ST.

This game was also know as "Immies & Aggies"
I don't think it's in any 'Top 100' or any 'Top 200' 'Atari 2600 VCS Games Of All Time' lists.
It's a long shot but there are a few Atari magazines from 1983 on Archive.Org

Does the OP get a notification when this happens? OP might think their thread got deleted.simonsunnyboy wrote: ↑Wed Aug 12, 2020 3:10 pm *Moderator note*

There's usually a check box when a post is moved which asks if the moderator wants to let the OP know that their post has been moved.
