I have a small happy board marked HCI HC1050G on the board. It has a SY6502 on the left, an IC at the top and empty socket at the bottom. From what I gather it needs some sort of happy eprom fitted. I have no idea on this and can't find any instructions for it on the web. This board is brand new and I've had for ages but never got around to fitting.
Any help would be appreciated.
I have another happy board complete with controller, which I'm trying to get to work and that's completely different.
If anyone has a 1050 with a happy fitted I would be interested.

Looks like it might be for the Atari 8 bit range, do you have a more zoomed out picture?

Re: Happy computers 1050 upgrade board
Is your question still valid? I have an Atari 1050 with happy board fitted.
Visit http://www.atarimax.com/sio2pc/documentation/index.html
They sell a Happy 1050 board for $39.99
Any questions? Post them here but send me a PM because I don't visit this board often.

It's photo'd to the size of the board, zooming out wont help as what you see if what there is. The other side is the usual pins to plug in. yes it is for the 8-bit atari, but i dont know what happy it's for. doesnt like like my other original happy boards, this is an original hd bought as new years ago.catmando wrote:Looks like it might be for the Atari 8 bit range, do you have a more zoomed out picture?
