Yes exactly, it is completly indepedent of which USB port is plug the mouse.

So both 3.3v and 5v are connected or only 5v?
have you tried at 75MHz (or lower) speed?

I used only 5V, I have this modification, but yesterday I checked and connected 3.3V, nothing helped

i am out of ideas other than to re-flash the CTPCI firmware.
