Hi,
I have a rather interesting issue with my Falcon and the CT60e here. Please have a look at the attached video. The machine boots, check RAMs, tries to boot (I guess) and then hangs. This only happens in 060 mode and only on cold boot. Press reset, all working next time. I have tested the Falcon in both 030 and 060 mode for 24 hrs playing demos and it's rock solid.
Any ideas?
Christoph

Somehow I can not open the video ( it says what codecs I need, but Synaptic package manager says that I have those installed ) but during the cold boot when you quit the RAM check pressing any key, does it also hang?

I can see the icon and GEM being loaded halfway then it crashes with a lot of black/white squares.
Re: CT60e crash on cold boot
Video should be standard mp4 (and plays fine in VLC on Windows and Linux)
$ file Falcon_Boot_576.mp4
Falcon_Boot_576.mp4: ISO Media, MP4 v2 [ISO 14496-14]
$ file Falcon_Boot_576.mp4

Hi,
Most (all) of us have tu same issue. It seems to be related with the ram test. See here viewtopic.php?f=97&t=35035&p=402840#p402840

Re: CT60e crash on cold boot
Time to time I get same issue different pattern tho. Hard reset fixes it. I am thinking this could be related to short reset line delay, but I have not investigated that any further, as the occurrence is intermittent and not very frequent.
