Sadly I had a problem with one of the GALs and since then, I've been unable to get the fastRAM working. Dave small sent me a ton of information, but never found the time to really go through it all. I'm sure I'll get it going again one day. In the meantime, it works perfectly as a 68030 accelerator with no fast ram enabled.

One of those dream pieces of hardware back in the day.

Have a PAK 020. Visually looks fine. CPU is getting a clock. Card acts as if there is no CPU in the 68K DIL (It's an STfm TOS 1.02) The PAK has TOS 2.06 modified. I have the schematics, there are some modifications noted on the sheets, also read some bits on the .de forums about a couple of fly wires running to the main board. I'd love to get this up and going. Already have far too much time trouble shooting it, with other projects still on the (over crowded) bench. The wifes German isn't too bad, but has no clue about what is being said computer wise. I get more out of translating RSC files with a dictionary Surely, there are some "experts" in Germany that may have notes stashed somewhere

Recently inquired what mask numbers are on their 68060 inventory from two seeming reliable sellers on flee bay.

One advertises "MOTOROLA MC68060RC50 68060RC50 PROCESSOR NEW SEALED AUTHENTIC W/ INSPEC REPORT".

They haven't taken the time to get back as of yet. It's been a few weeks, would hope if a purchase was actually made, shipping would be much more timely. Of course,the photos are not clear enough to see the screen print.

If anyone has ordered from them yet, be interesting to hear the experience.

The other is "Stella Blue". I've emailed twice with no response. That's been as long ago as a 4 months to recently.

Both can easily be searched.

Again, feedback would be interesting.

GREAT JOB man!!!!! I hope you truly can make this CT60e scream the way it was meant to!!!! Certainly cleaning up the noisy data lines will help from what I am hearing. Count me in for at least one of these great upgrades, so I can retire my old CT60 and use it only as a backup.

The Apollo Pheonix Silver7 core is (AFAIK) the 040 ISA not 060, no FPU (yet), partial MMU and it is closed source (i.e. it's not coming to anything other than a Vampire card in the near future)

Performance should be even higher.

That is debatable at the moment but eventually it will be better than 060 in many respects including price.

Its similar to 060 architecture, as superscalar but (unlike 060) with the full 040 instruction set. More instructions per cycle.
You are absolutely right about no FPU yet, no MMU yet and closed. Still, its the best thing high-end 680x0 computing that
happens lately. It should be far more compatible to existing code than an 060 with some exception handler
in a hacked TOS 4.

After Vampire is done for all target Amigas, they plan on a standalone Vampire, removing the legacy Amiga
and implementing that in FPGA as well. It would be great if the Falcon would become an additional target.

Just a thought, maybe ct60e could become a stepping stone to that ...
