Steem SSE 64bit build

Post by Steven Seagal »

A working x64 build of Steem SSE will be available.
Conversion wasn't hard, but maybe not all problems have been fixed.
Saw only one place where the program was directly messing with the stack (TOS list in option box).

It uses C routines to draw, not assembly. Those were already coded by Steem authors. Had to redirect some unimplemented On Screen Display routines.

It works only with 64bit DLL. CapsIMG, ArchiveAccess (custom build), FreeImage, unrar64 work fine.
Have no problem with Direct3D9 either.
Unfortunately, Pasti is 32bit only. This build can't run STX images.

Of course, the exe is bigger.

So, there's no real advantage for now. The better build is still the 32bit one.
