Street Fighter II - Strange Bug (real hardware)

I’m using a real Atari STfm with 2.5 meg of memory.

I’ve tried both the D-Bug and Superior versions with the same results.

Once you have beaten all the world warriors and it’s time to move onto the bosses, the game skips straight to Bison completely missing out Balrog, Vega and Sagat.

Very strange. Any ideas or other versions out there ?

Can be tested on an emulator with STX format support (Steem / Hatari).

I seem to remember, from playing it as a kid, that they just weren't in there. So it's not a bug as such, just an omission!

Will try those alternative versions at the weekend, thanks guys.

The bosses are definitely there, I played this to death back in the day. I can actually pull off the fireballs and dragon punch on the ST. Of course this was all before I played one of the console ports and discovered how far away the ST version is.

But the Rose tinted glasses are strong with this one and so is the muscle memory. I actually still enjoy this version for all it’s sins.
