It must be my firewall in work as I could get on last night but in work, no dice.

I'm sure I used to be able to get into it in this new place of work ..

(I also edited my previous post to remove the "Anonymous" bit)

I've done (and still doing) some tidying up of the "Incoming" folder.

a) The "missing POV disks" are now in their correct folder.

b) The Northside menus are in the Games Compilations folder

c) The Adrenalin MOD disks are in a new Music Compilations folder

and other bits and pieces have been moved around ..

Is this FTP site a general-purpose Atari ST software 'sponge'? Or is it more focused? I only ask because I couldn't find the ST Format coverdisks (only the wonderdisks - which is nice, as I never subscribed to the mag, although bought most of them). Would it be worthwhile me uploading the ST Format coverdisk collection? (And if so, zips of contents or .st images).

I have uploaded some zipped .st files of ST Format coverdisks to the server, but two failed to transfer (34a and 41b)... and the server appears not to let me delete them or overwrite them.... Is there an accepted way to deal with this?

Cheers,

Steve.

PS: Sorry if this has been asked earlier in the thread... but it is looooooong. Is there a FAQ?

I get this error:

mug : try setting your ftp client to use PASV transfers. I have the same problem, can't connect to ftp sites unless you set PASV.

i would try and explain why it happens, but i'm a little rusty on my tcp/ip protocol and ftp protocol, and besides, it's irrelevant. 8O

hope that helps

Can't really use the ftp with Newsie as it doesn't understand spaces in folder names.
Also there doesn't seem to be a 'back one folder' Link which makes navigation uncomfortable (log off, go to the settings, change path, log on).
It certainly is no prob to get the files with Fetch on the Mac.
Greetings, Jens

Yep, tell me where they are and I'll delete them.

I've been moving a *lot* of folders from the incoming folder into proper locations on Friday night. Still more to do though!

The Source Code folder has been removed and will be relocated when I've had a proper sort through to weed out the Falcon & ST stuff into separate folders and then work out which ones are demos, intros, bits of code, utils etc. etc.

If you (Zorro) uploaded the ST Mags .. can you fill in the gaps? There are a few missing issues as well as one file being 0 bytes in length :(

OK I moved all the ST Format magazines into a proper folder .. just waiting for the two corrupt entries to get re-uploaded.

Will move those ST Mag disks across either tonight or tomorrow night as I'm out tonight in the pub :)

Still missing 41b in the ST Format section? 42B was uploaded, but that one already existed?

Moving the Gamebase ST pics overnight and will .RAR them up before uploading tomorrow night so that it's only 1 file per folder to make it easier on people.

Missing ST Mag disks are:

Were there disks with every issue?
