THERE IS SO MANY MODELS AND EVEN COUNTRY MODELS TO SEE

AND A CLEAN PICTURE WILL SORT OUT ISSUES

PROVIDED ITS REPORTED AS A LINK TO THIS TOPIC IN OTHER TOPICS

This may help about knowing diverse revisions:

It is 520ST, Rev H . Was in machines with separated floppy and PSU. Recognizable also by on-main-board mouse and joystick connectors. No support for 2-chip TOS.

This is next version, Rev I, almost same. As I see, only difference is support for 2-chip TOS - in form of 74LS11 and some soldering pads. There is place for some IC, U201, not used here...

I wish I had a better camera as I want to add one of my 4160 STe machines to the mix. I've recently taken a cluster of close-up photos with my PDA 1.3Mpix camera with very mixed results. I can post them here or wait until I have a better camera next year...

I have three STe computers but will need to open the others up to find out the revision numbers. I'm not in a hurry to do this at the moment as I feel like a dose of flu is coming on. I've just started a new job too after being on the dole a year...

Just a small friendly advice , If you own a scanner, put the ST in the scanner, I did this with my MSX, all I had to do was to scan it twice and put the images together with photshop. Perfect sharpness and no distortion in the pix.

Here are pics of STE and Mega STE boards. Not the best ones, as there is no sun, and my artificial light is even worse.
And no PCB version markings on boards...
