Which tracker is the easiest to implement on Stock STFM machines? My STE rout is fine but there are ABK track files.. TCB mod players, but they all seem to have "press space" built into the rotuines themselves making them pretty useless...
There must be a MOD code or extension that allows other things to go on in the background like picture changes and user input? If not, I'll just have to use standard YM files on the STFM which for me isnt that good considering the STE has full stereo mods now, seems like too much of a trade-off.

U'd have to check the extensions on my site. Tracker code takes up 100% CPU time, hence the space pause in most codes. The only extensions which will allow other things are ones which have a 7khz version. I know ABK files have that, maybe other extensions. Though I don't remember much else about it. I know I had something like that running years ago, but CPU time is very limited with tracker code even at its lowest quality.

Re: Which tracker for Stock STFM machines
Thats a shame, i was trying to avoid ABK files lol.. I'll try some stuff out tomorrow and see what comes of it.. if it sounds too nasty then my only alternative is to dig out my SNDH code. I know another member here commented on SNDH and some files not playing but im 99% certain i'd cracked the reason why.
I know its on a disk somehwere lol, or even in one of my notepads, it was a test program so i didnt keep the actual .BAS file on my PC
That'll be another one for your site if i can find it?! or trial and error to remember what I did to get the SNDH files to work properly.. at least i know it involves registers..
