PureC English Help Files in HYP Format

Post by TheNameOfTheGame »

I converted the Pure-C help files over to HYP format. I find it more comfortable to read them that way. Cleaned up some typos and internal links while I was at it.

They should all be kept in the same directory since they cross-link to each other. They also have a lot of tables and structures which look neater with a mono-spaced font.

These are the one converted from the english Pure C help files?
The original help files are context help from the Pure C IDE.
Making them to HYP will break that, no ?

Well you can still use the HLP from Pure C within the IDE that way.

It's just an alternative to the HLP files. The HYP conversion is a different way to view the information.

I like the HYP files so I can view them on my Windows host (better fonts and resolution) while using Steem to program.

BTW, I put all the cross-reference links in the HYPs so they access each other like they would under Pure-C HLP files.

To view HYP files on Windows machines, use the program WinGuide. It can be hard to find so I have attached v0.05 here. I think that is last version.

WinGuide doesn't recognize the mouse scroll wheel to scroll hypertext page content, but there is a free utility cat KatMouse from http://ehiti.de/katmouse/ which will allow any window to see the mouse wheel as scroll up/down buttons. It works great with WinGuide. Tested under Win7.

Discovered an error in the HYPs. During my Bash script processing of the original HLP files, inadvertently all the occurrences of the \ character were doubled.

This error has been corrected and the file attachment in the OP updated and should be re-downloaded.
