Yes for learning C this is certainly not the top.
But for usage of C with Atari it is still a good book

Someone a whie back gave me a photocopied 5.5 manual (1500 pages... imagine the work!).

But OTOH, throwing it into an office copier and have it PDF the whole enhilada won't take much effort from my part. Is there any interest?

As it can be easily scanned and copied then I would say do it and publish here so we can see what you have. If you can scan at 600dpi this would be good if the copy you have is reasonable. I am happy to tidy it up if you scan it. 600dpi may mean you have to scan in batches but again, I am happy to tidy and combine. 300dpi would be OK as well if 600dpi is not an option.:D

Kodak80 - I am installing myself right now, and I am in Geneva on a MegaSTE - I can change the volume labels, which I did, but when I go to install it still tells me I put in the wrong disk. I then just click the ignore button, and it continues to install, so not sure what is wrong there.. I notice that STOCK 2.06 does not seem to read the volume labels I put on it.
How do I change volume labels in stock 2.06?

Hi James

I cannot see where TOS 2.06 would allow you to change the volume label on a floppy disk. The only point I can see to set the volume label is when you format the disk!

Your only option would be to format the floppy and set the volume label then copy the contents onto each disk.

Alright, here it is.

Had to do it in chunks since the office copier couldn't hold all the paper at once, and it is kind of in a mess. tried to name it somewhat coherently though. It's the Lattice C 5 manual with the 5.5 addendums.

Cool, I hope everything is there and the office copier didn't skip a page or two. If so, let me know.

Not really into C, it was just a fluke that I saw this thread, and that someone gave me that manual a while back.

Anyway, I'm glad if I could help you guys out.

Excellent! You vectorized them, or at least the User Manual and Libraries. I do appreciate a good job. Thanks.

That's great. Many thanks to all that contributed.

But IMHO, it would be better if it is uploaded to sites like Atarimania or dev-docs.

Yes, someone uploaded them to dev-docs after I already put them there. Good effort though whoever it was.

These are probably not needed but I have processed Greenious remaining pages for Lattice C 5 Vol1, 2 and 3. :D

Volume 1 - https://mega.nz/#!5FUgGZQb!rqtEL1QedJbB ... 4wk99Snffw
Volume 2 - https://mega.nz/#!UMkkwD7J!H1hdgBRqFqrU ... KyZmhDKuVE
Volume 3 - https://mega.nz/#!wZdggThL!ZfiYvp2XdRDy ... z8ITiBBF1g

These are grey-scaled versions processed the same as the v5.5 addendum manuals. Technically these are the same as FujiMan's copies previously provided above. Anyway, these are now here as well.

I see the amazing difference between the original and your cleaned versions... truly amazingly much cleaner.
How did you clean it up? What software/tool did you used ?

I use Scan Tailor: http://scantailor.org/ to do most of the work. Then I use Adobe Acrobat to combine the TIFF files from Scan Tailor.

Yes, I will take pics this evening.
I am sorry for being late in my replies but I am moving from one apartment to another and so life is a bit hectic.

I must say that Lattice manuals are excellent

I'm glad you have vectorised and cleaned up that version in the end (instead of mine shipped to Australia) -- I have just realised that my volumes are 2nd edition from 1991 (as opposite to 3rd edition from 1993). Addendums are first edition, same as posted a few posts above.

Many thanks for that!
