STOT #2/21 New Game of the Season #1: Rox

To have some new games even this season we will play rox that was released at the Ouline by Heavy Stylus and Tomchi.

Game starts at Saturday 12'00 o'clock

Some hints and tips for new players:-

Try scraping the rocks in the (easy) early stage of each wave for a huge score bonus (something like 2K per second I think). Also, if you crash, make sure you fly over rocks until your invicibility is lost.

Collecting spacemen and/or the full E-X-T-R-A set awards a lot of points (20K-40K IIRC).

Following these guidelines it's possible to score over 1000,000 by wave four (I think my record is around 1002,500).

I also think it would be interesting for people to post up their high scores and wave reached, so we can see who can survive the longest... I can only make it to wave six or seven before it gets too fast for me!

(BTW, it's r0x, with a lowercase r and x and a zero)

- I hope that you (SSB) could release a playable version of the game you released at the OL in the next 6 weeks (sorry I wrote mounth, but I mean weeks)
- This season fo the STOT ends with round 24 and this round starts in 6 weeks

No promises for a release, due to missing data parts, mainly audiowise, we are not 100% but I hope for a release next month.

Had a quick go today and nearly beat my all-time best. This kind of score requires a lot of rock grazing!

Most of the time I end up with loss of 2 lives before I get 10000 points

Silly question SSB, but you are playing at 8MHz? IIRC in Steem it plays super fast at 16MHz.
