Locking the curser into the window?
I know its there somewhere in the forum.. but I guess I am not doing the search for the correct words.
I have been playing with Hartari, and I find it really frustrating that I cant find an option to "lock"me into the window.. so that I have full complete cursor movement with out it leaving and returning to the PC... I have a 1920 x 1200 screen and seems it need to centre on the window.. but not working out.
Thanks
James

If Canada does not have an Alt Gr key (US keyboards do not have this key), you use the Right Alt key + M to capture the mouse in the Hatari window.

Are you sure? Every laptop I had was with US keyboard layout. And Alt Gr was there:darwinmac wrote:Alt Gr key (US keyboards do not have this key),
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Thanks for the keyboard photo. Never know that Alt Gr was at that position.
My Dell desktop US keyboard does not have Alt Gr key on it.
May be it's a notebook thing.

Have you purchased a laptop or desktop in the US? In Europe, I would expect that key to exist since that is how international characters are accessed. I haven’t seen this key on any keyboard purchased in the US.Cyprian wrote:Are you sure? Every laptop I had was with US keyboard layout. Can't find them on any of the office Dell, Lenovo & HP notebooks.
So looked up the AltGr wiki - they are only on International US keyboards... those I seen so far are standard US keyboards.... explains why it 's not there. It is used to enter non-locale symbols -- like US keyboard typing in €

Re: Locking the curser into the window?
...but what it actually is - a combination of Alt and Ctrl. So Alt Gr = Alt + Ctrl.

Re: Locking the curser into the window?
Normally I'll just switch Hatari to fullscreen (with F11) when I don't need to switch to other apps...
Note that you can rebind all Hatari shortcuts in Hatari keyboard config dialog.
